A fatal collision occurred in the late hours of Wednesday when a speeding dumper crashed into a motorcycle in Semra village. The accident claimed the life of 28-year-old Chandrashekhar Gond and left 25-year-old Satyendra Prasad critically injured.
The crash happened as the victims were returning home from a local market. The police reported that the dumper, laden with soil, was traveling at high speed in the opposite direction and rammed into the motorcycle on the Hata-Kaptanganj road.
Despite being rushed to medical facilities, Chandrashekhar succumbed to his injuries, while Satyendra remains in serious condition. The dumper driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle, which police have since seized. An active search is underway to find the suspect.
