In a decisive move against organized crime, the Gurugram police on Wednesday demolished illegal structures on government land in Kasan village. The structures were allegedly linked to Balbir alias Chhalla, a criminal figure with a history of offenses including theft and extortion.

The operation aimed to dismantle the financial network of criminals by targeting encroachments. The Crime Branch of Palam Vihar led the action, working in coordination with the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation and other local officials.

Under heavy police presence, quickly executed demolition saw shops, kiosks, and huts removed, halting illegal rent collections and alleged criminal activities on the site.
