A chaotic scene unfolded in Budaun when a stray dog attacked guests at a bride's farewell in a banquet hall, leaving over 60 people injured. The incident occurred at Abhinandan banquet hall on Bilsi Road.
Eyewitnesses described the situation as a stampede-like chaos, with women and children screaming and rushing for safety. The dog did not stop there; it soon moved onto the road, attacking passersby and shopkeepers, before fleeing to a nearby village where it allegedly bit cattle.
The local community expressed frustration at the municipal authorities, accusing them of negligence despite the funds allocated for stray dog management. Additional District Magistrate Arun Kumar assured that measures are being taken to address the situation promptly.
