The Telangana High Court has granted major relief to BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and three others by ruling that no legal action may be taken against them based on the findings of the PC Ghose Commission. The commission had investigated alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram irrigation project execution.

Presided over by Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice G M Mohiuddin, the division bench noted that although the commission's establishment was not legally questionable, its findings were prejudicial and violated natural justice principles.

Submitted last year, the commission’s report implicated Chandrasekhar Rao and other officials in the alleged irregularities, prompting challenges in court by those accused who sought to nullify the contentious report.
