A high-ranking Iranian military official issued a stark warning on Tuesday, threatening the destruction of the Middle East's oil industry should conflict with the United States reignite. General Majid Mousavi, who oversees the Revolutionary Guard's aerospace division, remarked on Iranian media that any aggressive actions against Iran would be ill-advised.

In his address, he cautioned neighboring nations against offering support to US military efforts, asserting that doing so would compromise oil production in the region. This rhetoric comes amid existing US military presence across various Middle Eastern countries. Meanwhile, Iran's foreign minister condemned a US-led blockade of Iranian ports, labeling it a ceasefire breach as diplomatic talks face stagnation.

Iran's UN ambassador, Amir Saeid Iravani, expressed a willingness to return to the negotiating table, contingent upon the lifting of the blockade by Washington. The United States has yet to publicly commit to such a move, further complicating the prospect of resumed discussions. The situation underscores the growing uncertainty and heightened diplomatic tensions between Iran and the US.
