The Pakistan Navy has successfully executed a test of an indigenously developed anti-ship weapon system, the Taimoor air-launched cruise missile, the military announced on Tuesday. This advancement highlights the Navy's enhanced precision strike capabilities against sea-based threats at considerable distances.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) emphasized that the missile's mission was executed with remarkable precision, reinforcing the Navy's ability to detect, target, and effectively neutralize maritime threats. The demonstration signifies a crucial escalation in national defense, amplifying the multi-dimensional strike capabilities of Pakistan's Armed Forces.

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Defence Forces, and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir along with other service chiefs, applauded the scientists and engineers for achieving this noteworthy milestone, reinforcing their commitment to safeguarding the nation's maritime boundaries.
