The Amravati district police in Maharashtra are currently probing a grave case of sexual exploitation and the circulation of obscene videos involving minors. Ayan Ahmed Tanveer Ahmed, 19, considered the prime suspect, has been apprehended, along with seven others, following the surfacing of illicit content on social media platforms.

In recent developments, a second suspect, Uzair Khan Iqbal Khan, aged 20, was also taken into custody. Despite prior warnings, Khan communicated with a 16-year-old victim from Paratwada. A formal complaint from the victim's mother led to charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the POCSO Act.

The investigation, spearheaded by a Special Investigation Team (SIT), involves the analysis of confiscated electronic devices. These include multiple mobile phones, laptops, and storage devices believed to contain evidence. The team is pursuing technical analysis to uncover further details about the alleged exploitation and dissemination network.
