Swift Justice: Conviction in Ajmer Abduction and Assault Case

In a landmark verdict, a court in Rajasthan's Ajmer has delivered justice by sentencing eight individuals to three years of rigorous imprisonment. The accused were found guilty of abducting and assaulting Hamid Khan, an act which involved brutally severing his nose.
The shocking incident took place on March 18, 2023, when Hamid Khan was forcibly taken from Ansal City by the accused to Maroth. There, they subjected him to severe physical abuse using sticks and rods and further degraded him by recording the act.
Thanks to a rapid response by law enforcement, led by Superintendent of Police Harsh Vardhan Agarwala, the accused were apprehended within 12 hours. The case was investigated under the 'Case Officer Scheme' ensuring a robust prosecution and highlighting the effectiveness of swift legal action in cases of grievous harm.
