Tragedy on Ramnagar-Udhampur Road: Abdullah Vows Justice

A catastrophic road accident occurred in Udhampur district, resulting in 21 fatalities and 29 injuries when a passenger bus rolled down a hillside, crushing an auto-rickshaw before coming to rest. In response, Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed profound sorrow and assured the public that an investigation would follow.

The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families and pledged that the government stands with the victims during this challenging time. He emphasized that action would be taken against any negligence discovered upon investigating the incident's cause.

The government is coordinating with the Government Medical College Udhampur to ensure the injured receive proper medical attention. District administration has been mobilized to expedite rescue and relief operations, with instructions issued for all necessary assistance to those affected.
