During a three-day visit, Kataria participated in the 'Nasha Mukti Abhiyan' march and discussed strategies with educators and law enforcement on preventing addiction. He stressed the necessity of schools incorporating drug education into their curriculum to combat the problem.

Addressing a larger assembly at the 'Nasha Mukt Punjab Sankalp Samagam 2026' in Amritsar, Kataria urged collective efforts, highlighting Punjab’s historical resilience and cultural legacy. He visited local artisans to promote traditional crafts, underlining their importance in preserving cultural identity and supporting livelihoods.
