Devender Yadav, the Delhi Congress president, has raised an alarm over the strenuous workload faced by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) tasked with revising electoral rolls.
In a letter to senior officials and government leaders, he noted that BLOs, many of whom are teachers, struggle with both academic and administrative demands.
Yadav warned of significant health risks, including reports of stress-related deaths among BLOs. He appealed for immediate action to relieve their burden, ensuring fair and manageable working conditions.
