In a distressing incident in Palamu district, Jharkhand, police have arrested a man accused of raping a woman. The accused, named Rabbani Ansari, allegedly entered the woman's residence by breaking a window. According to sources, the attack occurred while the victim's husband was out for work.
After receiving the complaint from the 22-year-old victim, officers promptly apprehended Ansari. It is reported that the victim, who is a mother of three children, endured the assault under traumatic circumstances. Following the arrest, Ansari has been remanded to judicial custody as investigations continue.
The victim has been taken to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital for a medical evaluation. The harrowing incident has sparked concerns over the safety of women in the region. Police are intensifying efforts to ensure justice is served while providing necessary support to the victim and her family.
