The ambitious Census 2027 initiative, inaugurated in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, is set to redefine India’s future, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav highlighted.
Emphasizing its modern, digital approach, he urged residents to participate diligently. The Census commences with online self-enumeration from April 16 to 30, followed by house listing in May, all executed digitally.
This pioneering exercise, touted as the world's largest administrative and statistical effort, is crucial for mapping demographics, education, migration, and economic activity, influencing key governmental and policy decisions, the officials noted.
