In a heart-wrenching incident in Madhya Pradesh's Sheopur district, two teenagers who had eloped were found dead, allegedly victims of suicide. Police revealed that the young couple took the drastic step after their families opposed their union due to the same 'gotra'.
The incident unraveled when missing complaints were filed on Wednesday by the families of both the boy and the girl. On Thursday, their bodies were discovered hanging from a tree in the dense forest near Bargawan police station limits.
Station House Officer Shyamveer Singh Tomar confirmed the tragic ending, stating the couple was deeply in love but pushed to the brink by familial opposition. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this double tragedy.
