The Supreme Court has dismissed a plea requesting that the central authorities establish guidelines for the proper display of the Ashoka Chakra on the national flag.
Chief Justice of India, Surya Kant, along with Justices Joymalya Bagchi and Vipul M Pancholi, advised the petitioner to focus on constructive contributions to society instead of pursuing the matter further.
The court acknowledged the petitioner's concerns but left the decision regarding any action to the discretion of the concerned authorities.
