Suresh Singh Rawat, Rajasthan's Water Resources Minister, reviewed key water management initiatives and directed officials for swift completion to meet deadlines. The meeting, held at Indira Gandhi Canal Bhawan, underlined the need for zonal camps in Jaipur for expedited project handling. Rawat emphasized transparency and quality.
In his address, Rawat insisted on regular field visits by engineers and submission of monthly photographic reports to reflect progress. He urged engagement with local stakeholders to address project-level challenges. Constant quality checks on construction materials were also mandated to ensure project integrity.
The administration, led by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, is in mission mode to enhance water management across Rajasthan. Projects such as the Dewas and Bagolia feeder schemes were reviewed, with an emphasis on real-time monitoring and timely completion. Additional Chief Secretary Abhay Kumar assured continuing field inspections.
