A 24-year-old man has been apprehended in northwest Delhi for allegedly stealing cash from an e-commerce store in Shalimar Bagh. According to official sources, the suspect, identified as Ritik Gulati, was detained on Tuesday night. Part of the stolen sum has been retrieved by the authorities.

The incident came to light following a PCR call on April 13 from complainant Mohammad Haseeb. The report detailed that an unidentified individual entered the store at about 12:50 pm, brandishing a knife. The assailant abused, threatened Haseeb, and seized the cash drawer keys, absconding with over Rs 17,000.

Police traced the suspect using CCTV footage from the area and successfully captured Gulati. During his interrogation, he confessed, and Rs 10,000 of the stolen funds were recovered. Officers disclosed that Gulati is a habitual offender, previously involved in four criminal incidents.
