Middle East Turmoil: Rising Death Toll in Iran Conflict
Conflict between the U.S., Israel, and Iran has resulted in thousands of deaths throughout the Middle East since it began on February 28. The escalating conflict in the Middle East, sparked by U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran, has resulted in thousands of deaths across the region. According to HRANA, a U.S.-based rights group, over 3,500 people have been killed since the clashes began on February 28, including 1,598 civilians.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies reports that approximately 1,900 people have perished in Iran due to the U.S.-Israeli airstrikes. The situation in Lebanon remains dire as over 1,300 deaths have been recorded due to Israeli strikes.
The conflict extends to several countries, with casualties reported in Iraq, Syria, Israel, and others. The toll includes military personnel and civilians, highlighting the widespread and devastating impact of this ongoing war across the region.
