Legal Battles Continue: Kejriwal's Acquittal Challenged

The Delhi High Court has demanded former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's response to the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) challenge against his acquittal in two cases related to not attending summons in the excise policy investigation.
Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma issued notices based on the ED's assertion that Kejriwal deliberately avoided appearing, raising 'frivolous objections' to the summons. The court has scheduled the next hearing for April 29.
Previously, the trial court ruled that the ED did not sufficiently prove Kejriwal intentionally ignored the summons, highlighting issues with the service process and law compliance. Kejriwal, currently on interim bail, continues to face scrutiny amid ongoing legal procedures.
