In the wake of recent communal tensions in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar, locals are experiencing a muted Eid-ul-Fitr celebration under a cautious watch. A substantial number of Delhi Police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed throughout Hastsal village and its surrounding areas.
Barricades stand at critical entry and exit points, with strict identity checks enforced. Only verified residents are permitted entry into specific areas, while the movement of outsiders remains tightly restricted.
Amid these stringent measures, religious observances continue, albeit subdued. Authorities have orchestrated visible security strategies, including regular foot patrols, rooftop monitoring, and CCTV surveillance to ensure peace.
