Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has called on the state’s officials to prioritize maintaining law and order during the approaching Eid, Sarhul, and Ram Navami celebrations. In a high-level meeting with senior officials, Soren emphasized the importance of ensuring that the festivals are observed without incident.
District officials were urged to be vigilant and prepared, with Soren mandating swift action against any attempts to disrupt public peace. The chief minister reviewed the existing setups for hygiene, power supply, and other essential services, laying out a detailed blueprint to prevent any unrest or violence.
Officials have been tasked with enforcing thorough monitoring and documentation during festival processions, including establishing safe zones and deploying informants. Special attention will also be paid to social media, with misinformation quickly addressed. The installation of CCTV cameras at key locations and a steady power supply were highlighted as critical directives.
