Tragedy of a Policeman: Financial Struggles Lead to Tragic End

Tragedy struck at Patamata Police Station as a senior officer facing financial hardships reportedly died by suicide in Pedapulipaka. The deceased was identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector Gopi, who was also battling blood cancer.

According to law enforcement officials, Gopi consumed poison, and succumbed on Tuesday night. The police are currently awaiting a postmortem report to confirm the cause of death.

Investigators have revealed that the ASI experienced compounded stress due to both his health and family issues, including alleged harassment and financial problems linked to his second marital relationship. An inquiry promises to provide fuller clarity in the coming days.
