Dominating the semi-final at Sydney's Stadium Australia, Japan opened the scoring in the 15th minute, courtesy of Fuka Nagano assisting Riko Ueki. Maika Hamano soon doubled the lead with a striking shot, and Saki Kumagai's header later extended the advantage. Despite South Korea's effort, marked by Kang Chae-rim's goal, Remina Chiba sealed Japan's win with a late strike.
The final showdown is set for Saturday, with Japan seeking their third consecutive title against a resilient Australian team that defeated China in their semi-final encounter. Japan, twice champions in recent years, is determined to continue their winning streak.
