Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that Uttar Pradesh has ushered in a 'new era' of law and order, eliminating past fears and tensions. Speaking at a Lok Bhavan event, he emphasized the peaceful co-celebration of festivals like Navratri and Ramzan, marking nine years of his administration's achievements.
Highlighting the state's progress, Adityanath reflected on the pre-2017 scenario, citing opaque recruitment processes that jeopardized youths’ futures. He boasted of creating over nine lakh government jobs, significantly bolstering the state's policing capabilities, with 2.19 lakh positions filled in the police force alone.
Adityanath noted advancements in police modernisation, transparency in recruitment, and women's empowerment, including the formation of three women PAC battalions. The establishment of forensic labs, cyber police stations, and the State Disaster Response Force has fortified Uttar Pradesh's law enforcement, fostering public trust statewide.
