Juvenile Justice: Unveiling the Tragedy of Northwest Delhi Stabbing

In northwest Delhi's Ashok Vihar, three juveniles were apprehended in connection with the brutal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy, according to police sources on Wednesday. The incident occurred on March 12, with Altaf sustaining severe injuries in what officials described as an attack rooted in past disputes.

The young victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but the initial lack of eyewitnesses and his inability to provide a statement posed significant hurdles for investigators. Nevertheless, an FIR was registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and a dedicated investigation team quickly gathered crucial information to pursue the case.

After Altaf regained consciousness, he identified one of the attackers, facilitating police efforts to track down the accused. Subsequent raids and surveillance culminated in the arrest of the three juveniles, who reportedly confessed to their involvement. Notably, one of the arrested had recently been released on bail for a previous murder case. The weapon used in the crime, a knife, was recovered at the scene.
