In an impressive breakthrough, Delhi Police have arrested two individuals linked to a high-stakes ₹5-lakh robbery in the national capital, solving a case that had long eluded closure. The diligent efforts of the Ranjit Nagar Police Station within Central District led to the apprehension of the suspects, identified as Rahul and Karandas alias Fukka, who had been absconding following their alleged involvement in the crime.
The police operation began following a PCR call on November 15, 2025, reporting that robbers had stolen cash and a laptop near Shadipur Flyover. One of the perpetrators, Akash, was earlier apprehended, but a rigorous investigation involving continual surveillance and technological analysis finally led to the capture of his associates. Rahul was nabbed from JJ Colony, Inderpuri, on March 10, while Fukka was arrested in the same area five days later.
Upon interrogation, both suspects confessed to orchestrating the robbery and confessed to having exhausted the stolen money. Rahul, described as a habitual offender with a track record of criminal offenses, remains under scrutiny as further investigations are underway. Meanwhile, in another crackdown, Delhi Police made arrests in separate cases involving illicit LPG refilling operations, a pressing issue compounded by the ongoing shortage triggered by the West Asia conflict.
