In a bid to enhance military-civilian collaboration, Major General Ajay Misra, General Officer Commanding of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Sub Area, met with Governor S Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday.
The discussions revolved around strengthening nation-building initiatives, community development, and disaster management, alongside security-related issues. Misra's visit underscored the Indian Army's significant role in national security and regional growth, as he highlighted plans to expand the military's presence with a new headquarters in Amaravati.
Engagements also included talks with Industries Minister TG Bharat on fortifying the defence industrial ecosystem and discussions with DGP Harish Kumar Gupta regarding ex-servicemen's welfare.
