Uttarakhand's Proactive Measures Amid West Asia Conflict

In response to the West Asia conflict, the Uttarakhand government has reinforced its efforts to manage the supply of essential commodities. This step, initiated by directives from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, ensures the continuous availability of food, fuel, and other necessities.

A dedicated team of officials and experts will work from the State Emergency Operations Centre to oversee the distribution system. Their daily tasks include reviewing stock levels, collecting data, and cooperating closely with the Department of Food and Civil Supplies.

Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has also taken charge, conducting meetings with district officials and oil and gas company coordinators to ensure an ample supply of domestic gas. Vigilant measures are in place against black marketing and hoarding, with Quick Response Teams being formed to monitor and respond to potential shortages swiftly.
