In a significant narcotics bust, authorities recovered over 1.5 kg of heroin, valued at more than Rs 8 crore, near the International Border. Pakistani drones allegedly delivered the illicit package.
The discovery was made in Bahadurpura village, located in the Bishnah area, late Wednesday night when a local resident stumbled upon it in a field.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the drugs were dropped across the border via drone. Law enforcement has registered a case, and a comprehensive investigation is in progress.
