ED Tightens Grip on SSC Recruitment Scandal

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned former West Bengal Education secretary Manish Jain and expelled Trinamool Congress leader Kuntal Ghosh in connection with the School Service Commission (SSC) recruitment case. The summons comes as the ED intensifies its probe, seeking the pair's presence for questioning next week.

This decision follows earlier scrutiny of former state Education Minister Partha Chatterjee and Arpita Mukhopadhyay. Kuntal Ghosh, previously apprehended by the CBI regarding the SSC recruitment corruption case, is currently out on bail.
