A surprise inspection at the Assistant Regional Transport Office has uncovered corruption involving a tout and a computer operator, according to officials.
Under the directive of District Magistrate Durga Shakti Nagpal, Chief Development Officer Abhishek Kumar led the inspection, revealing unlawful fees charged by staff members.
As a result, an FIR was lodged against a tout identified as Ravi, and the computer operator Quamar Ali's contract was terminated for unauthorized overcharging.
