Afghan National Arrested at Indo-Bangladesh Border
Aljahi Musafar, from Afghanistan's Nimroz province, was arrested in West Bengal's Nadia district for allegedly entering India illegally via Bangladesh. Detained by the BSF at the Fatepur border, Musafar lacked valid entry documents. He's now under investigation by the Nadia police for his unauthorized entry.

An Afghanistan national was arrested in West Bengal's Nadia district for allegedly entering India via Bangladesh without valid documents, police reported on Wednesday.
Identified as Aljahi Musafar from Nimroz province, Afghanistan, he was apprehended by the Border Security Force (BSF) while attempting to cross the India-Bangladesh international boundary at the Fatepur border late on Monday. No documents were found in his possession.
BSF handed Musafar over to Hanskhali Police Station for further investigation. Police are investigating the circumstances of his entry and possible assistance received. The court in Ranaghat has remanded him to police custody.
