Bomb Threats Across Jharkhand Turn Out to Be Hoaxes
Ranchi, Jamtara courts and XLRI received bomb threats via email, all found to be hoaxes. Police conducted searches with bomb squads, finding nothing suspicious. Bomb threats sent via email to Ranchi, Jamtara civil courts, and XLRI in Jamshedpur turned out to be hoaxes, according to local police. Despite thorough searches involving bomb disposal units, no suspicious items or activities were detected in any of the locations.
This marks the third email threat received by Ranchi civil court in recent months, following similar messages on February 6 and February 28. The latest email threatened to use 14 'cyanide bombs,' prompting urgent searches. Authorities are taking these threats seriously and are investigating their origins with help from technical and cyber teams.
Meanwhile, Jamtara civil court and XLRI also faced evacuation and detailed searches, but nothing harmful was discovered. Police are working diligently to track the source of these emails, assuring public safety amidst waves of false alarms.
