In a development surrounding a gruesome murder case, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara has ordered the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to investigate the kidnapping and killing of a real estate businessman from Anekal. The deceased's body was discovered in Tamil Nadu earlier this month, raising concerns over interstate crimes and business rivalries.
Responding to Congress MLA Pradeep Eshwar's call for justice during zero hour in the Legislative Assembly, Parameshwara confirmed that police have already made one arrest and are actively searching for two other suspects involved in the crime. He assured that the CID, now handling the case, will rigorously investigate the matter to ensure justice for the victim and his family.
The incident unfolded when Gopal, the businessman, was reportedly abducted by a group that forcibly took him in another car, leading to his tragic death in a forest in Tamil Nadu. Police believe that business disputes and rivalry may be the key motives behind this horrifying act. The case emphasizes the need for swift action in addressing such serious violations of law and order.
