A 50-year-old woman and her 18-year-old son were discovered dead inside their Lucknow residence, authorities reported on Tuesday. The victims, Reshma Bano and her visually-impaired son Shadab, were found by a local resident and appeared to have been strangled.
According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Rallapalli Vasanth Kumar, four investigative teams have been established. The police are actively examining CCTV footage to track any leads linked to the disturbing incident.
The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem examination as authorities vow to explore every angle in this tragic case, which has left the community shaken and seeking answers.
