Iran's Foreign Ministry has downplayed the prospects of a ceasefire, attributing the ongoing situation to relentless attacks. In a statement reported by Iran's Student News Network, the ministry emphasized the nation's focus on defence and decisive retaliation against enemies.

Esmaeil Baghaei, the ministry spokesperson, reiterated Iran's stance on self-defence, clarifying that Tehran harbors no intentions of engaging in war with Muslim neighboring countries. However, Iran reserves the right to target facilities used by aggressors, validating its need for legitimate defence.

Baghaei also categorically denied allegations of Iranian attacks on Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Cyprus. He dismissed these claims as 'false flag attacks,' suggesting they are unfounded and intended to mislead.
