Delhi High Court to Review Liquor Policy Case Discharge

The Delhi High Court, on Monday, sought responses from former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, deputy Manish Sisodia, and others involved in a liquor policy case. This comes after the CBI challenged their discharge by the trial court.
Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma scheduled a hearing for March 16 and indicated plans to order the trial court to defer proceedings in the related money laundering investigation by the Enforcement Directorate.
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta urged the court to set a schedule to settle the CBI's claims, stating that the trial court's decision was misguided, turning criminal law on its head and ignoring evidence of conspiracy and bribery.
