In a recent incident in Uttar Pradesh's Etah district, police registered an FIR against an individual accused of disseminating an 'objectionable' AI-generated video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, authorities reported Saturday.
The video, which used artificial intelligence to distort the prime minister's image, depicted alarming scenes and was widely shared across social media platforms, causing public outrage.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that the investigation has been entrusted to the Pilua police station, where appropriate actions against those responsible for spreading the misleading content will be pursued.
