Strengthening Security: DGP's Conference in Bhuj Focuses on Border Safety

Gujarat's Director General of Police, K L N Rao, is set to chair a pivotal conference in Bhuj on February 21-22, focusing on bolstering security along the India-Pakistan border and the Kutch coastline.
The 'Crime Conference' will convene key security officials, including those from the state police, Indian Army, BSF, ICG, and IAF. The primary goal is to enhance inter-agency coordination to thwart cross-border infiltration, drug trafficking, and maritime anti-national activities.
DGP Rao is slated to visit sensitive regions like Jakhau and Pingleshwar in Kutch, evaluating the readiness of Marine Police and other security forces. He will also engage with police personnel in remote areas to uplift their morale and inspect their welfare amenities.
