Mystery deepens in Odisha's Bhadrak district as five bodies reportedly vanish from Maninathpur village's cremation ground. The latest in a series of similar incidents, the disappearances have fueled speculations and left locals in distress.
The bodies, belonging to villagers who died over the past two months, were last seen at the Swargadwar cremation ground on the banks of the Baitarani river. Police Officer Rajlakshmi Nayak confirmed complaints from villagers and announced a full investigation.
Suspicions range from occult practices to scientific exploitation, with villagers lamenting inadequate police response. Bhadrak SP Manoj Rout has called for a detailed probe to uncover the truth behind these mysterious occurrences.
