Murder in Madhya Pradesh: Lawyer's Daylight Assassination Sparks Investigation

A lawyer named Sanjay Kumar Saxena was shot dead in broad daylight in Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri district by unidentified persons, sparking an intense investigation. Police believe the murder was pre-planned and are scrutinizing the case from all angles, stated Superintendent Aman Din Rathore.
Multiple police units have been mobilized in pursuit of the assailants, Rathore added. Saxena was shot while traveling to court on his motorcycle near Anand Sagar temple, confirmed Karera police station's in-charge, Vinod Chhaavai.
Efforts by another lawyer and locals to save Saxena were unsuccessful as he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. With a long-standing land dispute potentially connected to the crime, four suspects' names have been provided by the family. Police are analyzing CCTV footage, and additional force has been deployed to maintain order amid rising tensions.
