Jewelry Heist Crackdown: Arrests in Ranchi

In a significant police operation, authorities in Ranchi apprehended two members of a gang responsible for multiple jewelry thefts and housebreakings, as stated by a senior police official on Saturday.
The suspects were connected to three burglary incidents under Namkum police station, with two major thefts occurring on January 20 and 31, according to officials. Praveen Pushkar, the SP (rural), confirmed the duo's involvement, revealing the recovery of more than 200 grams of gold and silver ornaments.
The stolen jewelry, valued at over Rs 16 lakh, was traced back to 'Maa Jewellers' at Kanta Toli Chowk, where it was allegedly sold. While two arrests have been made, three accomplices are still at large, sparking an ongoing manhunt.
