In an intensified move against terrorism, police in Doda district, Jammu, posted posters seeking information on active militants, including a Pakistani Jaish-e-Mohammad commander, Saifullah. The operation follows increased security measures across high-altitude regions due to intelligence on terrorist presence.
Notices appeared at pivotal spots like Nagri, Dessa, and Ganpat Bridge, with plans to expand outreach to other critical areas. Meanwhile, security forces dismantled a terrorist hideout in the Chilli forest area, unearthing supplies that suggest recent terrorist activity, thereby prompting more combing operations.
The campaign, which involves extensive searches in districts like Kishtwar, Kathua, and Udhampur, has already led to encounters resulting in several deaths, highlighting ongoing security challenges and the relentless effort to disrupt terror networks in the Chenab Valley.
