Prostitution Racket Uncovered at Nagpur Hotel
Authorities in Nagpur have dismantled a prostitution operation at Hotel MH 40, rescuing three women and arresting a suspect while others remain at large. The perpetrators allegedly forced women from other states into illicit activities. Items seized in the raid included cash, mobile phones, and a car.

In a significant crackdown, police in Nagpur have uncovered a prostitution racket operating from a hotel in the city. The operation, conducted by the Social Security Branch, led to the rescue of three women from a hotel named MH 40 in the MIDC area.
Authorities arrested Nikhil Nilkanth Sonawane, aged 27, during the raid, while his alleged accomplices Yogesh Thakre, Harshal Thakre, and Santosh Bisen are currently evading arrest. According to police reports, the accused were exploiting rooms at the hotel to conduct illegal activities, forcibly involving women brought from other states.
An array of items, including cash, mobile phones, and a vehicle, was seized during the operation. The investigation continues as officials pursue the absconding suspects.
