Heist Under Heavy Rain: Jewel Thieves Nabbed in Saharanpur
Five individuals, including three women, were apprehended in connection with a jewellery heist at a CaratLane showroom in Saharanpur. Ornaments worth around Rs 3 crore were recovered. The burglars exploited adverse weather conditions to execute the theft, leading to their capture by local law enforcement.

In a major breakthrough, police have arrested five individuals linked to a high-profile jewellery heist at a CaratLane showroom in Saharanpur, recovering ornaments valued at around Rs 3 crore. The operation, executed amid adverse weather, involved three women among the accused.
The theft occurred under the jurisdiction of the Sadar Bazar police station, with the burglars entering the store by breaking a wall. The manager reported that gold and diamond jewelry were stolen. The police, through the efforts of Sadar Bazar officers and the SWAT surveillance team, tracked and arrested the suspects.
The leading accused, Irshad, confessed to meticulously planning the heist and entering the showroom disguised as a scrap dealer. Authorities detained him and his accomplices as they attempted to offload the stolen goods. Legal action is underway as they face charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
