A middle-aged man's body has been recovered from the Kalaktang river in Arunachal Pradesh's West Kameng district, authorities confirmed on Tuesday.
The unidentified body was found stuck between rocks in the river on Monday, according to HB Tator, officer-in-charge of the Kalaktang Police Station. Preliminary findings suggest the individual drowned.
The man, estimated to be aged between 45 and 50, is suspected to be a non-local, as per police observations. Law enforcement has called for public assistance and cooperation from nearby stations to ascertain the identity of the deceased.
