Security forces in Manipur seized a cache of arms and explosives and apprehended two militants in separate operations, authorities confirmed on Tuesday.
Found near Bongmol and SL Zougam villages in Tengnoupal district, the seized items included an AK-47 rifle, pistols, rifles, ammunition, radio sets, and IED components.
Two militants from proscribed groups were also arrested in Imphal West district, contributing to ongoing efforts to control ethnic violence in the region.
