The minister emphasized the importance of policy-level dialogues and increased interactions among military officers.
Minister Dong delivered these remarks during a meeting with U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in Malaysia. He underscored a consistent stance by urging the U.S. to 'oppose Taiwan independence.'
