Tarigami emphasized the inadequacy of existing jail facilities in J-K, urging that this be resolved to ease the suffering of prisoners' families. He stressed the importance of this assembly's voice reaching those in power to prompt necessary changes.
Echoing these concerns, Peoples Conference MLA Sajad Lone highlighted Shabir Shah's dire condition, urging the assembly not to neglect the issue. He emphasized the assembly's role in conveying concerns to the Home Ministry for the welfare of J-K prisoners.
