Addressing these concerns, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov remarked on a report by Russia's SVR foreign intelligence agency. The report allegedly indicates that France is preparing to send 2,000 soldiers and officers to support Ukrainian forces.
Peskov reiterated a stern warning, promising that any foreign fighters aiding Ukraine will be "destroyed." These developments underscore the escalating complexity of international involvement in the ongoing conflict.
